Input Management Overview

The Yokogawa AMM22 S3 functions as a multiplexer input module for the CENTUM CS and VP series distributed control systems. A green LED confirms proper power and a yellow LED blinks during scanning. The module communicates with the field control unit through the backplane bus. It operates reliably between 0°C and 50°C ambient temperatures. Proper cable shielding prevents electromagnetic interference.

Reliability and Calibration

The Yokogawa AMM22 S3 maintains accuracy through factory calibration and autozeroing. The module stores calibration coefficients in non-volatile memory.
