Additionally, a field-programmable gate array manages all channel scanning simultaneously.

Physical Interfaces and Mounting

You will find one front-facing 50-pin connector on this module. This connector accepts a Yokogawa terminal block such as A4N5L. Each signal wire connects to a spring-clamp termination externally. A green LED indicates normal communication with the field control unit. A red LED will illuminate for any channel out-of-range condition. Two locking levers secure the Yokogawa AAI135-S03 firmly in its slot.

Installation and Operational Reliability
