Distributed I/O Capability
The TSXDMZ28DR positions I/O points exactly where you need them on the factory floor. This module reduces long cable runs by locating processing close to sensors and actuators. The 16 digital inputs accept standard 24 V DC signals from proximity sensors and limit switches. The 12 digital outputs drive solenoids, relays, and indicator lamps with 0.5 A per channel.
Robust Communication Network
This remote I/O module communicates with the main PLC through the RS-485 Modbus network. The module supports network lengths up to 1,200 meters, covering large facilities effectively. You can install repeaters to extend this distance further if required. The communication speed of 19.2 kbps ensures timely data updates for your control application.
Flexible Addressing and Configuration
The TSXDMZ28DR uses configurable addressing for input and output data mapping. The module allocates 64 bits for input status and 48 bits for output commands. This flexible addressing simplifies integration with existing control programs and HMI systems. Consequently, you can expand your I/O capacity without rewriting extensive portions of your logic.
Diagnostic Visibility and Status Monitoring
This remote I/O module includes eight status LEDs for rapid fault identification. These indicators show power, run mode, communication activity, and individual channel conditions.
