This GE IS200SRTDH2A board operates from a 24V DC power supply. It terminates 8 RTD input channels for temperature measurement. The unit measures 20 cm in length, 15 cm in width, and 4 cm in height. Its total weight equals 0.6 kg without any packaging materials.

The GE IS200SRTDH2A includes 8 RTD conditioning circuits with excitation. Additionally, it features one 50-pin ribbon connector for host interface. A single 6-pin terminal block connects the DC power input. The board contains 8 RTD conditioners, 1 FPGA, 4 voltage regulators, 16 resistors, and 12 capacitors.

GE IS200SRTDH2A stores energy using one electrolytic capacitor. This capacitor provides 47 µF at 35V rating for input filtering. Consequently, the board maintains stable readings during 15 millisecond power fluctuations. Therefore, temperature measurements remain accurate in noisy industrial environments.

Design and Integration

This compact RTD board uses four-layer PCB construction with guarded analog traces for noise rejection. Consequently, the GE IS200SRTDH2A operates reliably from -10°C to +55°C ambient temperature.

For installation, you need M3 screws for the four mounting holes. The board draws 120 mA typical current from the 24V DC supply. Each RTD input supports 2-wire or 3-wire sensor connections. We recommend using shielded twisted-pair cables for all RTD field connections.

Practical Application

This RTD terminal board connects PT100 temperature sensors to a turbine control system. It monitors bearing, winding, and exhaust gas temperatures continuously. The GE IS200SRTDH2A then routes conditioned signals to the host controller. Therefore, it serves as a compact temperature interface for GE turbine control panels.
