The GE IS200EGDMH1A IS200EGDMH1ADE includes one ground detection bridge for field monitoring. Additionally, it features one relay output for fault annunciation. A single 8-pin terminal block connects the field circuit. The module contains 1 bridge circuit, 1 comparator, 1 relay, 2 optocouplers, 3 status LEDs, 10 resistors, and 8 capacitors.

GE IS200EGDMH1A IS200EGDMH1ADE stores energy using one electrolytic capacitor. This capacitor provides 22 µF at 100V rating for relay hold-up. Consequently, the module maintains fault output during 20 millisecond power interruptions. Therefore, ground fault alarms remain active through brief voltage dips.

Design and Integration

Both the GE IS200EGDMH1A and IS200EGDMH1ADE versions share identical ground detection logic. These modules use four-layer PCB construction with high-voltage isolation for operator safety. Consequently, the GE IS200EGDMH1A IS200EGDMH1ADE operates reliably from -10°C to +55°C ambient temperature.

For installation, you need M3 screws for the four mounting holes. The module draws 50 mA typical current from an external 24V DC supply. The ground detection bridge continuously monitors field insulation resistance. We recommend using shielded cables for all field connections.

Practical Application
