You will find this unit exclusively in the Mark V turbine control series. Unlike standard LAN boards, this version uses the “AFG” functional revision. It supports dual independent network channels for redundancy.

This LAN board connects directly to the Mark V backplane. It uses two independent Ethernet channels for network traffic. You can configure each port for different IP addresses. The GE DS200SLCCG3A DS200SLCCG3AFG operates at 100 Mbps full duplex. It achieves a 95% packet success rate over 100 meters. You must assign static IP addresses before connecting the board. Always use shielded CAT5e or CAT6 cables. This practice prevents electromagnetic interference on long runs. Furthermore, the board supports both star and daisy-chain topologies. This feature provides flexibility for different plant layouts.

Physical Characteristics and Environmental Limits

This LAN board has a multi-layer, high-frequency PCB design. Its lightweight 0.35 kg structure allows for easy installation. The layout follows GE’s standard Mark V coating specifications. Therefore, it fits securely into C-frame or G-frame cabinets. The board includes link and activity LEDs for each port. In addition, it maintains stable operation between -25°C and 60°C ambient temperature. You can store this unit safely up to 85°C.
