Rack Architecture of the NP1BS-11
The NP1BS-11 provides an eleven-slot foundation for MICREX-SX SPH programmable controllers. This standard base board accommodates one power supply module alongside one CPU unit. Furthermore, nine additional slots accept I/O or specialty modules for system expansion. Engineers select it for projects requiring moderate module counts without advanced networking demands.
Slot Distribution and Bus Design
Three slots feature processor bus connectors for high-speed CPU communication. Meanwhile, the remaining slots operate on the standard SX bus for general I/O tasks. Consequently, the NP1BS-11 supports multi-CPU configurations when paired with compatible processors.
| Parameter | Specification |
|---|---|
| Total Slots | 11 (1× power + 1× CPU + 9× I/O) |
| Processor Bus Slots | 3 |
| SX Bus Slots | 11 |
| Mounting | DIN rail or screw fixation |
Physical and Electrical Characteristics
The unit measures 413 mm wide, 105 mm high, and 31 mm deep. Its weight reaches approximately 720 grams, reflecting the metal chassis construction. The NP1BS-11 consumes 60 mA or less at 24 V DC internally.
| Parameter | Specification |
