This unit accepts a wide input range from 100 VAC to 240 VAC, making it suitable for global installations. It delivers 5 VDC at 3 A for logic circuits and 24 VDC at 0.5 A for field devices, totaling 18 W of output power. The module includes comprehensive protection features, including overcurrent, overvoltage, and short-circuit protection.

Energy Storage and Ride-Through

This power supply incorporates internal capacitance that ensures a minimum 20 ms hold-up time during momentary input voltage dips. This energy storage allows the PLC system to ride through short power interruptions without resetting or losing operational states. Installation and Configuration

Mount this power supply in the dedicated slot of any MICREX-F rack to ensure proper backplane power distribution. Connect the AC input wires to the removable terminal block, observing correct polarity for safe operation. The module automatically regulates output voltages upon power application, requiring no manual adjustments or configuration settings. Users should verify total system current draw does not exceed the 5 VDC, 3 A capacity, as overloading may trigger built-in overcurrent protection.
