Triple Modular Redundant Architecture for Safety

The 3805E employs Triconex’s proven TMR architecture with three independent, isolated channels on the module. Each of the three legs processes the output signal simultaneously and independently. Therefore, a single component failure will not cause the loss of the analog output, maintaining the safety function.

High-Resolution 4-20 mA Control

This module provides eight fully isolated 4-20 mA output channels with 12-bit resolution. It drives loads up to 750 Ohms, accommodating most valve positioners, I/P transducers, and analog indicators. As a result, the Triconex 3805E delivers precise and reliable positioning for critical safety valves.

Continuous Online Diagnostics

The 3805E performs continuous self-testing and loop monitoring during normal operation without interrupting outputs. Comprehensive Channel Isolation

Seamless Integration with Triconex Systems

You install the Triconex 3805E directly into any I/O slot of a Tricon or Trident chassis. The TMR backplane communicates with all three legs of the module, voting on output commands. Therefore, programming and configuration integrate seamlessly with Triconex engineering tools.

Suitable for SIL 3 Applications
