The Triconex 3625 digital output module delivers high reliability in safety-critical control applications where output points remain in a fixed state for long durations. Supervised Output Design
The 3625 module includes built-in diagnostics that monitor both module and field conditions. It detects issues such as open loads, field shorts, blown fuses, or missing loads. Its quadruplicated output switch design, using fault-tolerant power transistors, ensures each voted signal maintains stability. This supervision extends beyond the system to the field wiring, improving overall safety coverage.
Hot-Spare Functionality
Engineers can replace a faulty Triconex 3625 module while the system continues running, thanks to hot-spare support. The module requires an external termination panel (ETP) and cable interface to connect seamlessly with the Tricon backplane.
