The GE Fanuc IC200ERM001 is an Isolated Expansion Receiver Module for the Versamax product line. This module enables the extension of a PLC or I/O station by linking to additional expansion racks. It must work in conjunction with a matching Expansion Transmitter Module (like the ETM001). Consequently, it provides a reliable and isolated communication path for distributing power and data.

Key Connectivity and Installation Features

This module features two 26-pin female D-shell ports for daisy-chaining expansion racks. A rotary switch beneath its access door allows for easy selection of the rack’s unique ID. The IC200ERM001 draws its operational power directly from the installed backplane power supply. Furthermore, LED indicators clearly display the power status and the condition of the expansion bus.

Installation and Operational Notes

Always mount this module in the designated left-end slot of the Versamax expansion rack. Connect the top port to the transmitter cable and use the bottom port to daisy-chain to the next rack.
