Product Overview
The Bently Nevada 133388-02 3500/50 Tachometer Module continuously measures shaft speed, rotor acceleration, and direction. Moreover, it compares these measurements against user-defined alarm setpoints. In addition, the module generates alarms if any thresholds are exceeded, enabling proactive machinery monitoring. This module supports four configurable operational modes for different monitoring requirements.

- Configurable Monitoring Options: Includes Speed Monitoring, Setpoint Alarming, Rotor Acceleration Alarming, Reverse Rotation Notification, and Zero Speed Notification.
- Keyphasor Signal Output: Provides conditioned Keyphasor® signals directly to the 3500 backplane, therefore eliminating separate modules.
- Peak Hold Feature: Furthermore, it stores highest speed, highest reverse speed, or reverse rotation counts for user analysis. Values can be reset by operators.
- Application Limitation: Not designed for speed control or overspeed protection systems. For instance, magnetic pickups are unsuitable for reverse rotation monitoring due to low-speed limitations.
