I/O modules

The Bently Nevada 133819-02 is a non-isolated RTD/TC I/O module designed for the 3500/61 Temperature Monitor. It processes multiple thermocouple (TC) and resistance temperature detector (RTD) signals to deliver accurate temperature monitoring in industrial applications.

Input Capabilities

• Accepts 1 to 6 RTD or TC transducer signals
• Input impedance greater than 10 MΩ per lead

Supported Thermocouples

• Type E: -100 °C to +1000 °C
• Type J: 0 °C to +760 °C
• Type K: 0 °C to +1370 °C
• Type T: -160 °C to +400 °C

Supported RTDs

• 100Ω platinum (α = 0.00385): -200 °C to +850 °C
• 100Ω platinum (α = 0.00392): -200 °C to +700 °C
• 120Ω nickel: -80 °C to +260 °C
• 10Ω copper: -100 °C to +260 °C

Note: Platinum RTDs with 0.00385 alphas are the industry standard and recommended for all applications.

Power Consumption

• 3500/60 module: 7 W nominal
• 3500/61 module: 9 W nominal

Outputs and Recorder Functions

• Front Panel LEDs:
  • OK – monitor operational status
  • TX/RX – module communication status
  • Bypass – active bypass mode indicator
• Recorder Output: +4 to +20 mA, proportional to monitor full-scale
• Load resistance: 0 to 600 Ω
• Resolution: 0.3662 µA per bit
