The NTCL01-A termination unit provides a dedicated interface for 4-20 mA current loop signals from 2-wire transmitters. This termination unit supplies regulated 24 VDC power to each connected transmitter, eliminating the need for separate external power supplies. The 16-channel design supports high-density installations, reducing the overall footprint in control cabinets.

The unit provides a regulated 24 VDC supply per channel, delivering up to 25 mA of current to each transmitter. This regulated power ensures consistent transmitter operation despite fluctuations in the main supply voltage. The maximum loop resistance of 750 Ω accommodates most standard 4-20 mA transmitters and allows for reasonably long cable runs without signal degradation.

Precision Signal Conditioning and Accuracy

This termination unit incorporates precision current sensing resistors that convert the 4-20 mA loop current into a voltage signal for the analog input module.
