The Bently Nevada 286566-02 is a high-performance 3500/50M Tachometer Module designed for shaft speed and rotor acceleration monitoring. It supports proximity probes or magnetic pickups to track rotation direction and velocity precisely.
This module triggers alarms based on user-programmed setpoints and supports configurable monitoring options, including speed bands, zero-speed detection, rotor acceleration, and reverse rotation notifications. Additionally, it generates Keyphasor signals for other system monitors, eliminating the need for a separate Keyphasor module.
The module includes a peak hold feature, storing maximum speed, reverse speed, and reverse rotation counts. Users can reset these values when necessary.
