Rockwell Automation has introduced PointMax™ I/O, a new remote I/O system designed to address the increasing complexity of modern industrial environments. The solution offers a modular architecture that enables manufacturers to build smarter, more adaptable machines with reduced wiring and simplified control system design.
PointMax I/O integrates seamlessly with Logix 5000 controllers, supporting high-speed communication and scalable system configurations. With its compact design, it helps reduce cabinet size and installation effort, making it ideal for both new installations and retrofits.
“Customers are looking for more flexible, reliable solutions,” said Karthikeyan Mahalingam, Product Manager at Rockwell Automation. “PointMax I/O offers a new level of design freedom without compromising system performance.”
The product is built to perform in demanding industrial environments and supports real-time data collection and device-level connectivity.
